Hi guys, a week ago, I installed some kind of application about keyboard and i think it sort of clashes cz whenever i wanna type a new message, the keyboard letter is not visible. Its like kind of blurry and u cant see clearly. U can only guess which letter is at which location. So i tried to uninstall the application but its not in my 'uninstall list'. So is there anything i can do about it or any way to restart the keyboard? Thanks

You have to be very careful while installing application especially applications that change your system settings. Normally it will prompt you regarding about clashes if you have other application that works as same as the one you going to install, so do read instruction while installing an application. Since you can't find it in the uninstall list, try press and hold the Off-On/Standby button and the home button for more than 10 seconds to do a hard reset. If it's still not working, guess you need to do a restoration, jailbreak and unlock again.

If u can remember what that app is then we can search a way to remove it. Some app do make backups of what they change. If u don't remember then we have to shoot in the dark for the solution.

Nope ... a good app packager should have the info added in the localpackager.plist for future use i.e to uninstall, if got newer updates and info. That's why we must only install app from a trusted source. If we install an app but it did not add the info in localpackager.plist then we can't uninstall it later or don't know what did it install in our phones in the first place.

The only way to know what's been change is to download the package manually (usually in zip format) and look for the initializing script.

What if that app did not install an (applicationname).app but instead modified some plist file like kb2 that only modified the keyboard.plist? Then how to double check?

I'm afraid i cant recall as it was 1 week ago. I tried to push the ON/OFF & HOLD button simultaneously. Now the keyboard changed to something even more weird. It become the earth background (the one in the default wallpaper). Is there anyway to check what was gone wrong? Nothing to do to restore it back?

Not sure this will work but can give it a try, I was Jailbreaking an Iphone for a friend of mine yesterday using the Ziphone 3 cause the Iphone was actually been JB without the "installer" and "ssh" install. Therefore I can't install the "Installer" application using the Winscp and I'm too lazy to search for iBrkr..lol. Pressing the "jailbreak & active" button to re-jailkbreak and reinstall BSD file again and I found out that the files(songs, movies & photo) and contacts still remains intact. If this still not working..restore is the only choice.
