mine was a solid body, and it was very muddy under distortion. even when i dropped the midtones, it was very muddy mad.gif

Finally months of contemplating if I should get one and skeptical with the hype. Just jumped the gun yesterday and brought it home tongue.gif
Yes it sounds really good! Cab sounds thin but plugged into the 1x12 V30 loaded cab, it roars. Sounds great at low volume esp for late night practice or with the headphone out emulation.

I'd seriously recommend the Blackstar amp if you guys could get hold of one (Spore?)
Lovely tones even on low volumes, perfect for bedroom playing. Plenty of gain to start with and loads of tonal possibilities. Highly recommended for a practice tube amp.
