pretty phone!... hahaha.
the 5MP and onboard memory is the candy. others are pretty normal. but the thing is, the croix UI is actually RAM and processor demanding, so i shall reserved my comments until the spec is official including its processor and RAM.
and the 5mp camera? I tried using i780 2mp camera and it doesnt fare well. hope this gives some surprises for me.

after all...samsung is the supplier for nokia and Se camera sensor biggrin.gif
in terms of hardware wise, this Omnia better (of course) than iphone 3G, but the functionality (interface, UI, response) will determine either it can compete or not....nway, iphone hv a lot of fanboyz/fangirlz to support them and make their phone success although they offer slightly below par phone tongue.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

This is touted as "Iphone killer", and it is launched the same week as Apple Iphone 3G.

However, Samsung probably has not expected Apple to slash Iphone price so much. Although initially Iphone street price may be higher than the list price of USD 199 (8 Gb version) due to great demand, it should still be very competitive.

If Samsng is to price i900 too high, Iphone 3G will be the killer, not the other way round.

Bring it on, competition, We love you!

I got 2 questions for this phone:

1. Is WQVGA screen 240 x 400 pixels common enough for most of third party software to be compatible? For 3.2 inch screen, this resolution seemed a bit low, and the pixels maybe be very obvious. Even SE Xperia X1 has 800 x 480 pixels.

2. Does the phone come with a stylus? I don't see a slot in the phone.

I personally don't really like the TouchWiz UI with the Vista-like sidebar, seemed not "professional" enough like Touch Diamond's TouchFLO 3D. But the overall specs are quite attractive though.
