Broadband provider
ISP/package: Streamyx 512k
Location: USJ 11
Have you called your ISP's helpline?: yes

Personal equipment
Modem: D-Link DSL520B & Aztech DSL208U (USB modem)
Router: -
Firewall used: -

Problem details
First occurence of problem: last week
Problem frequency: very frequent
Problem description:
Last week my line went down so I called helpline & they diagnosed that my previous Aztech DSL600E was faulty. So I borrowed my friend's Aztech DSL208U (USB modem) to use temporally and I was able to connect to the net. I bought a new D-Link DSL520B at Digital Mall PJ, but the DSL light wouldn't stop blinking, the line will just go up & down continuously and I can't connect to the net at all.

So now where's the problem?
I can connect with the USB modem (not really stable, will DC after maybe 30min)
I can't connect the DSL at all with the D-Link

Nvm everyone, I've solved my problem. It was some settings that I had to set manually in the D-Link modem. smile.gif
