Well,most of the psp dealers in shops like "Lowyat" and "Sungei Wang" sell hacked psps and only have a couple of official firmware psps.Why? Because i can bet my life that not a single Malaysian is prepared to buy an official firmware psp,and buy the UMD games instead of getting a pirated copy of it (Including me).It actually is a good thing that the shop dealers hack it before hand.In US and many other European countries,users need to hack their psps themselves because they do not have many "Piracy-Supportive-Shops"(lol) over there.

I think most of the shops offer modded ones. I just went there last week. Heck, you still can get a brand new psp phat too. But please ask in detail what they have to offer. You might ask that you want a psp slim, they'll give you offer price of RM550. Then when you're about to pay, they will say they need to add the cost of modding which jacks the price up to RM690. You want cheaper, they say got hard-mod, RM650 but your wifi will be useless then (I guess they took the chip out and sell it). Then you say u can hack yourself. You just wanted a unmoded RM550 psp slim. They say no stock pula. LOL. Anyway, just ask for what you need in detail, like i want a psp-slim already modded one with screen protector included and 4gb high speed memory card ORI. What is your best offer? Otherwise, you'll have tons of hidden cost when you're ready to pay, just like Air Asia.

GUYS i have a question, i need an answer ASAP, im currently in USA now and i bout to buy a PSP here, can i use it back home in Malaysia? and if i wana buy games in Malaysia can the games be played on my future american-bought PSP? thank you so much guys

You can use it back in homeland, but you might need to replace the AC Adaptor. UMD games are not region sensitive. So you can play games from all regions. But the case is not the same for UMD movies, which are region specific. PSP is cheap over there?

greetings guys.. i would wanna know.. how do i get to use the skype in my psp... i know we require a specific headset with mic for it.. but how do i go about getting it? does third party makers sell it or only sony does it? and how much does it costs? im an avid skype user and it would be better if i get to keep in contact thru my psp too...
