If I buy a HTC PDA phone from BargainChain, am I subjected to tax when it's delivered to me?
As for the warranty, can I claim the warranty from SIS distributor in Malaysia instead of sending back to BargainChain?

Unfortunately, I can't ship HTC to Malaysia. It is parked in Singapore.

hey yea.. i just checked with bargain chain... tax will be very trouble some
if i am not mistaken customs charge 30% of the goods price

Allow me to explain how the web store works:

Items are parked in Free Trade Zone in Singapore, HK and Malaysia. For items that need to be shipped into Malaysia or even other countries will incur Custom Duty. The rates are different from country to country.

Buyers should go for digital cameras and camcorders as they are duty free for Malaysia. They are also mobile phones that are already inside Malaysia (so no tax). These items are bargain buy.

To identify items inside Malaysia, look out for product code starting with SKU follows by MY code.

Hope this will clarify the matter.
