Don't care how much Phenom loose Intel Q93xx laugh.gif
~Just compare how faster than old AMD X2 4600+

Old Rig:
AMD X2 4600+
ASUS M2A-VM HDMI
Patriot DDR2 800mhz

Cpu temperature (Full load) *50 oC ~ Quite cool..
Attached Image

Phenom Memory Controller:

The K8 core (Socket-940/939/AM2) featured a single memory controller that was 128-bits wide, but in Barcelona AMD has split up the DRAM controller into two separate 64-bit controllers. Each controller can be operated independently and thus you get some improvements in efficiency, especially when dealing with quad core implementations where the individual cores working on independent threads all have their own memory access patterns.

Ganged Mode = Single dual-channel , 128 bit
Unganged Mode = Two single-channel , 128 bit

CPU = Built in 2x DCT
Each DCT = 64bit

No matter DC or SC , all is 128 bit

*quite confuse , I need read more detail on it. hmm.gif

when it comes to AMD, its bang for buck. and that's it, full stop. its impossible to compare to Intel when u wanna find a cheap multi-tasking rig. even tat Aeneon RAM also says it all.
