thx hrd, there are some problem i wanna ask!

- i have 2 partition in my 320gb hdd, i asked dell to do the partition for me, 40 gb for OS and software, the remaining are my personal files!

- can i format the 40gb and install 64bit in it?

- will it affect my personal files partition?

- as for Adobe software, can they run in 64bit vista?

- as for driver, all i need to download from here?http://forum.notebookreview.com/

- yes, you have to reformat the 40GB C drive to fresh install Windows
- if your Windows in C drive and all your personal files in D drive, should be no problem.
- what kind of Adobe software? 32-bit applications, softwares and games should be no problem to run in 64-bit Vista because WoW (Windows in Windows) compatible mode
- yep, you can download the compatible drivers here

i think can gua... as last time i dunno saw from where stated that we can ALWAYS require for the disk if we missed it...

Means they wont take care so much of u lor...u wan then they just give..

So, i think 32 bit and 64 bit doesnt hv any physical changes as still a dvd-rom.... so i think they wont so stingy eh... u try it .. then let us know..

32-bit applications should be no problem in 64-bit environment. Vista x64 will switch automatically to 32-bit compatible mode.
even my old year 2002 Formula 1 racing game runs with no problem.
but i cannot guarantee you 100% OK because i’m not using your softwares.

when install the 32-bit softwares, Vista x64 will also separating the program files folder for 64-bit and 32-bit application.

actually i don’t feel any significant performance boost using Vista x64. 3DMark06 total score and CPU score only increased 10-15points.
but applications startup etc feels slightly faster and smooth.
maybe because Vista x64 use the memory better and maximize CPU 64-bit potential.
