usually in windows XP the messy part of installing drivers is the HD Audio drivers.. but for vista it is supported out of the box so i dont think there is any problems installing it in any order... but normally i will install the chipset and video drivers first.

go for vista is not a good idea, although it may have a better security over XP, but my laptop only support up to 2GB, seriously, 2GB RAM is consider as minimum requirement for the vista with tweaking the OS, so for gaming, there will be a bit problem, like lag or hang halfway during minimize and maximize.


that's y i only pls games in air-con room or air-circulated room, i ply Need For Speed the temperature exceed 80c but still under 90c a bit scary, but it's the fact, unless u're using dell XPS or other better gaming laptop, compaq arent really bias to gaming, thhey r more for conventional use.

owh god i also currently so addict to cabal and using my v3751 as main platform, now its a sign for me to stop a while and buy a new desktop i guess T_T

defect lappie with special extended waranty for over waranty lappies are aplicable for lappies with faulty DOS..faulty DOS leads to probs such as lcd malfunction, jam half way, audio and modem malfunction..so, mobo burn is not in the list.wish u luck,dude.

buy it again with t&c that ur lappie is still in gud condition.any small hardware failure may cause the payment to be void.and depends on the sparepart availability.
