I personally believe Rapheal which will be TYTN2 replacement will have the highest price instead of Diamond, which deemed is original touch successor.

Thus, I guess Diamond is either slightly more expensive or same price as Touch Cruise when it first launched.

Whether it can defeat the existing iPhone or iPhone 2.0 is still early to say, as I think most people will be most concerned about its battery life, 900mAH against GPS and VGA display. sad.gif

The iPhone will win simply because of screen technology, where the iPhone's screen tech is light years ahead of standard touch screen tech in terms of sensitivity and functionality.

Still remain a question when it still havent release ... but the target they aimed is iPhone...

and we will judge for it...

There is some reason they put a 900MAh battery... But before it release or reviewed.... Maybe it really work as promised ?

Time will reveal everything slow...

And what does multi touch really do? Shrink photos? That's pretty about it, because a phone's screen area is still too small for any proper, practical activity. Yes, it's more responsive, but looking at the Diamond videos, it looks pretty good too.

Looking at the iPhone for some time, I can say the Touch Diamond outclasses it in style.
Nobody- I repeat, nobody, has ever made a front-end that elegant yet robust.
Even OSX mobile is at times, embarrassingly spartan. There is no easy access like the stuff here.

Safari on iPhone having no Adobe Flash slaughters it for me too. Opera Mini = Major win.
Let's see how 192MB of RAM, improved OS coding (from the HTC Touch 1 update) and ATI's Imageon work out.

That's why the CEO of HTC said "we don't need 2 hands, we don't need too many fingers, just one hand, just one touch" during the HTC's press conference in London.

The browser in Touch Diamond is Opera Mobile 9.5 with UI tweaks by HTC themselves. Is this support Adobe Flash?

Oops, should be Opera Mobile supporting Flash.

Yup, for WinMo it does.

Some people at Engadget tried to compare HTC Diamond with iPhone.
