Haha, I was looking for my thread to edit some stuff. Searched through the first few thread pages but couldn't find it before realizing it was pinned! Coolio.. biggrin.gif rclxms.gif

Added on May 1, 2008, 11:34 pmI think we need to add an unlocking FAQ here. I think we all agree that iLiberty is the best way right now since ziPhone has the bootloader issues? Anyone wants to write a step by step guide for unlocking an iPhone using iLiberty or maybe post a link to it?

If I'm not wrong, the link at the iPhone club thread is iLiberty for Mac. I'm looking for iLiberty for Windows.

I'll add it to the front page and credit your name as a contributor.

Download an iPhone application called simport where you can transfer files from your SIM card to the iPhone.

Alternatively, use a cable to connect the nokia phone to the computer and sync with outlook/address book program of your choice. Then, connect your iPhone to the computer. From iTunes, in your iPhone submenu, just click sync with (program of your choice).

A: Install AppSupport (1.1.4 or 1.1.3 or whatever depending on your firmware). You can find it at the iClarified folder in your installer app. If you don't have it, the source is: http://installer.iclarified.com

It's a bit different from what you want, but have you tried saving multiple numbers in the same name instead? For instance, Jack HP and Jack House will go under Jack..

It's pretty intuitive. If you decide to change phone in the future, just sync your contacts with Outlook and sync it with your new phone. It will appear under Jack (mobile/home) as well in your new phone. That's what I did with my old Samsung D900 and when I synced it with my iPhone when I got it, it worked seamlessly. Every number in the same category under the same name..
