wtf....."sialcom" ....few days no connection at day time.......does anyone facing the same pbs...... almost end of the month still no improvement.....how long more you want to make us suffer......

If I'm not mistaken isn't Celcom part of Telekom or are they a total different company. All i know i used to use their mobile service and was shocked with it so i switched over to Maxis other mobile provider i think is good Digi. They always got all sorts of hidden benefits for you ehem i mean for them.

They will never show what their service is and hide it true lies and deception. They will say unlimited but suddenly bam change policy as it suits em. Comcast in US also doing bullshit traffic shaping but now the FCC stepped in and gonna investigate because they said it infringes one of their policy of freedom on the net or something i'll try and find the article later. So many people report them now they scared giving bullshit like it's for the better of the customers and the customers say it is for us to decide not you.

Your work is to either upgrade the lines or stop getting customers if your bandwidth cannot handle it and not advertise unlimited 24hour connection then throttle it.

We need some one to investigate Celcom but yeah this country eheh all i can hope for is we slowly fix this decay in our economy.

Celcom (SiaKom) really cap to those heavy downloader usage more than 5GB.

i suffered enough....just cancel my D68 last week saturday at jalan Ampang.

Now sign up for Digi but bear with the speed.it is not as good as D68 384kbps

Mine(Celcom) was cap to 64kbps even D98 was cap as well to 128kbps,i heard.

Just now called Celcom Careline regarding this 5Gb limit. The Cust Exec said that it was just temporary. They are upgrading the system coz current system just unable to cater overwhelming no of customer. She later added that the limit will be stopped when they finished upgrading (After June 30). Well...well...well..I'm very curious to wait n see whether what that had been said is true....

5GB??so why they put UNLIMITED?...that's mean i just can use for one day.....

its not over why they put UNLIMITED because Malaysian companies famous for false advertising. You know how we like to promise everyone the world and then deliver diddly doo. It's become a normal practice in this country because no ones takes action. Other countries if you report such behavior your entitled to compensation and the following company will be dealt with. Here all you get are more questions then answers and the companies get a slap on it's back for a job well done.

Problem is 2 many companies are being breast fed by the government. So you can't touch em because it will show the government sucks. Here private sector is actually government + private. Now the problem is when you report the following company of wrong doing guess what the complaint goes to a government organization who has ties with the private sector. Only way is keep pressuring them and ranting. If just sit and keep quite no use nothing will get done.

Slowly but steadily hopefully such practices stop and we change our way of doing business. Whenever you read/watch a pamphlet or advertising that promises you so much take it with a huge pinch of salt . Nothing in this country is what it seems. We are like the X Files number 1 cover up. Even Moulder and Scully will kill themselves if they were to find the truth. The Truth is Out There que X file song now DU DU DU DU DU DU

I am new to this....The 5gb is for downloading only right ? Cause i just use my broadband for downloading lecture notes and normal surfing.....Also for youtube lah....Should be ok right ?

Actually, no. It applies any incoming bandwidth from the net to your computer.

Wah ! Susah lah like this.... If i exceed the limit, they will just control the speed for that month only is it, then next month start back the 5gb limit again ?

yeah..of course...but i'm not sure whether they had applied this rules or not..because sometimes when i noticed that i was downloaded more than 5GB files...my internet speed is sometimes slow and sometimes stable...or maybe there is just have some technical problems..i just experience both of situations..

but this year they have separated...
since tm profit low than celcom but the profit go to tm side...

maxis broadband even more sux than celcom...
1st time connect 3g
a few min later become wap connection haha...
damn slow...

btw streayx still the best option if u want a 24/7 internet...
but still got prob in few days but still not everyday rite?
