if we not satisfied with the 5GB limit, then there is no other choice. have to terminate our account. we can't do nothing about it unless celcom change the policy

Actually you still can do surfing/download/etc after the 5GB monthly allocation. but your connection speed will be slightly slower, mine left max 21KB/s after receiving the 5GB notification, normal speed around 43KB/s. tested this after late midnight, if during daylight sure slow one.

you on D98 or D68?

What TTT08 said is true. Just helped a friend to rectify his internet problem, he is using Celcom Daily BroadBand to online occasionally.
The connection speed on daytime is worse than 56K Dial-Up, although is within 3G Coverage.

Can't understand how come no action taken on such big liar ISP....

Oh ya~, I already terminated the stupid service last month and demanded for full refund for April usage since it is near to zero, couldn't use at all.
But the bill still came and when I called 1111, the billing department is not willing to refund me and instead asked me to settle the bill ASAP icon_question.gif rclxub.gif cry.gif

This kind of situation, can I report to police? cry.gif

This rules also apply to D98 package...
By the way, i ask some of the Celcom guy and they say the 5G limitation is only for the p2p download (Not sure whether it is true or not).
When you reach the 5G limitation, your p2p dl will be cap but other activity like msn, browse net are still not affect.
This may explain why some of you reach the 5G limitation but still not getting cap.

I noticed since 15th of June, celcom broadband have a lot of connection problems..connect and less than 5 minutes I will be disconnected. I did ask celcom careline regarding this and the answer was not satisfying. The celcom cust exec told me that they r upgrading and will be ok early next month. When i ask about the bill he told the same amount will be charged. WTF!!no rebate or whatsoever for their poor stupid service. Arrghhh!!! i think CELCOM should rephrase their "unbeatable" slogan to "unbearable".
