trolls are good in pub plays but nowadays you can hardly see trolls in competitive team matches. The percent is slim.

i'll explain why :
1. team plays that is of highly skilled players will totally control your lane than as if troll's lane control is better.
2. you'll nearly get ganked everytime you are seen, nobody would fear blind skills from u as they had nukes that can go from 5 way direction plan to kill u.



trolls are still very useful in pub. but not advisable in real competitive clan or team matches, including LAN team matchups

aiyo...lvl11 troll wit pwr thread, 2 wraith band, and a helm of dominator...is still "very thin" not fat enuf...not said as can perma bash....any int hero will kill him 1on1

Troll is f*cking strong in PUB games . not in tourneys

people who didnt support the argument that troll is strong, obviously havent played with one

helm of dominator + wraithbands + threads and maybe a basher and later on butterfly is enough to dominate

how can u gang him early game ? all the game in forest .

agreed. and again troll will be countered most probably by the earlier post said. Bane elemental is one of it with the brain sap and ultimate and the sleep to get away from the stun period. bane could totally lane control over troll at lv6 onwards or even ate late due to his power of the sleep!


most int heroes can tag with him. but make sure a bkb or so is farmed or else u'll get perma stun nearly when troll is over lv16's >.>

like i said, troll will be farming in jungle most of the time. he can easily swith lane if he meets with INT or potentially dangerous heroes. to fight heroes like , spectre

it's true bane can do something about troll... but it is still easier said to be done . we're talking pub games here. will u pick bane instead of ur favourite heroes ?

troll's ownage is really hard to stop. and again, we're talking pub games. troll will not meet bane elemental in all the games.

troll is just purely powerful. you'll lose focus on him in team battles and he comes out and kill everyone . trust me, i;ve played with a lot of trolls . and i mean a lot ...

heheheh. troll warlord's in late is rather devastating. :3

in conclusion, they are really owning if they farmed well.



But,

in real tournament plays, troll warlord becomes rather weak as most of them will ward you on neutrals and stuffs.

so if early,mid situation, troll would not have farmed well in real tournament plays.

Void with power threads, butterfly, mkb, sange & yasha.

ulti. hit hit hit hit hit = die.

other than disable such as stun, grip, hex...
besides of butter, dmg return, basher, mkb..

anybody notice of drunken? 1 way to counter his bash.
somemore if he is a noob item-based, hero-based no-skill player, he'll stay there keep on hitting "miss! miss! miss!..."
imagine that.. ahhah.. xD

own him first in early game. dont let him farm. get int hero like lina or lion and get hex is the best.

threads starter ask when lvl 11 come out la..
let say we already forget troll, then suddenly come out with lvl 11 with dominator, pt, 2 wraith..

shud consider this condition lo..
then what item can we have, what skill we can counter troll... around that time? (lvl 11)
anymore suggestion?

1v1 with bone. bone shud be able to counter troll. bone got 2nd life. troll only got 1.

lvl 11 got guinsoo, must be a good farmer lo..

comparing items price and so, a level 11 lion or lina, with just dagon and bottle should make short work of the troll.
2 wraith bands doesnt add that much hp, and with max 1st skill (melee bash) means the troll is lack of stats, (unless u ignore fervor aura) i'll be betting the hp is not more then 1.2k?
1 stun/slave harass, then 1 full combo (stun-slave-laguna/finger-dagon) would make short work on that troll. (and it works every 2 mins or so?) ^^

u shud try play in public game, did u go your nearby cc?
with super ulti, some noob host "global delay 3-5 secs", your troll already done kill solo hero.
u can try yourself with a lvl11 troll, not say how to counter him 1st... i bet u can top score.

troll is very powerful n amazing at the lvl 20 over Hero, Even with FV there a chance that it will lose but there still a chance to win is GB him around lvl 10! till lvl 13 don't let him get a single item or even some money.. well if you r ply GG usually the troll will leave or angry so he won't be farming nicely~ just gb him~ xD other hero let other people gb .. 2 gb troll is more than enough.

usually i will use ZEUS to encounter troll in the line where he be farming.. i will be just denied all creep and just take creep by using my lightning bolt! i buy alot of clarity potion infront around 5 ~ 6 1 teleport scroll and some tango! xD you can pawn him at lvl 3 usually xD
