The EC issue is over IMHO and looks like this thread has become a warzone between the both of you. Perhaps a more peaceful solution can be found here? What's the point of bickering over damaged ego?

Prolonging this argument is certainly doing more damage then good to both of you in terms of personal and blog reputation.

you treat those sentences so seriously. if it was me I would just treat those sentences with 50 / 50 and check it out further.

knowing a loophole doesn't mean the system was hacked nor had it's security compromised. the system could still be within it's normal accepted operation.

which goes back to the points

1. we have no proof that he hacked.
2. he only claimed to be able to drop cards fast, but that doesn't automatically mean
a. ) his claims are valid (at least, now without proof)
b. ) he hacked
c. ) there was a security breach.

that's my point. just to make it clear, I'm not defending vkeong as a friend or anything. I'm just saying that there were many flaws i noted during the course of this event, especially on the part where many accusations and assumptions where thrown yet till this day there's not a single piece of evidence.

IMHO, AhKong is not wrong for reporting a possible loophole. But phirate is wrong for deleting a member's account just because someone claims that he know the loophole. That's plain stupid. And I think phirates must be too proud of Entrecard's success that he have forgotten that it is important to appreciate their members.

Anyway, I think it's OK to forget about it. Entrecard is not something that is really vital to bring you traffic. I would rather focus on SEO. By the way, even Google wouldn't ask webmasters to write stupid things like "I commit henceforth never to abuse, or claim to abuse, the security systems of Entrecard" - just a submit a reconsideration will do.

hehe yeah. wanted to post this quite a while back. deleting the account is good enough a punishment, requesting for those additional stuff is just lame.

anyway I've removed entrecard quite a while back. doesn't bring much but makes a portion of my ugly site look more ugly.

can admin or goldfries acts as dictator in this issue? close this thread, and prevent threads such as this in the future, make it controlled freedom forum..
