The difference is

E220 (Only HSDPA)
a) bigger in size
b) heavier
c) packed up to HSDPA 7.2mbps downlink and 384kbps uplink technology only

E172 (HSUPA ready)
a) smaller in size
b) lighter
c) packed up for future HSUPA technology HSDPA 7.2mbps downlink and HSUPA 2mbps uplink technology (READY)
d) VOICE ENABLED (MAKE & RECEIVE CALLS) **Optional**

Hope that helps...

Thank you...

Hi its RM599 for Huawei E169/K3520 which only supports HSDPA not HSUPA with a 24 month contract...
Even the current plans with Huawei E220, if you terminate before your contract expires you'll be charged
RM350 plus return the modem to CELCOM....

I wonder how much would it be for the new modem... Lol...

I just called up Celcom customer service, their staff don't know anything about this new launched plans...
They are keep asking me if its the Huawei E220 or BlueCube Modem...

I don't think this device (Huawei E172) and those plans will be introduced so soon...

I think my price is competitive with the 1 year warranty plus contract free and its unlocked for universal use...

Thank you...

Andrew

Hi there,

After doing several test and observation, i find that Huawei E220 and ZTE MF622 produce almost same results...
For sure the Huawei E172 will provide better signal and speed rate as its , HSUPA ready, new and improved version comparing
to the old models which is currently in the market...

Hope that helps.... Thank you...
