HT = klipsch fanboy  tongue.gif

*cabutzzzzz*

but seriously the unit up for sale in hifi4sale look damn kau solid!
*

blush.gif actually, I am. tongue.gif Klipsch speakers are very good for movies. Whenever you mention its name to any HT dealer out there, sure they ll say it is very good speakers albeit expensive. A 15" would be an overkill for my small room. A 12" would be nice.

I have auditioned this before. In terms of solid low end grunt, Klipsch is on par. Only loses out to flexibility, i.e. remote control and tautness of bass.

That long warranty for Velodyne's driver? Bro, I guess it will take some time for them to repair yours. Have you auditioned the Klipsch SW 12 /15 subs?

I was at the HIFI House (not sure the actual shop name laugh.gif ) at Gardens Midvalley this afternoon. They don't have the CHT-10R at the shop, but they quoted me more than RM2.3k. sweat.gif

rclxub.gif I knew which shop that you are referring. It is near ATlas Hi-Fi in Gardens. Nothing much there. Better get back to A&L to check the price since they are the distributor in Malaysia. But, I dont think it will be the same price as before as I mentioned earlier. RM2.3K is crazy. Add a little more, we can get CHT-12R already

estimated around RM 15K includes installation and those hidden cost.
Dissapointed with the Sub woofer, will write to AE in UK and give them a bomb.

Yeah, better write to them and let them know. I'm sure they also appreciate feedbacks to improve their products. This good for the long run. smile.gif

Bro mpyw, as it seems, the speakers price and some other Hi-Fi and HT equipments are affected. New price w.e.f. 01.07.2008.

Now, it makes me wonder whether the AVR will have its price 'increase' too. New models are in the pipleine in Oct. But, worry that it wld be more expensive by then.

But, If I buy now, it would be obsolete in abt 3 months time. In a dilemma now.

I think unlikely for low end models. 1 HDMI out is enough for me.

Synco, even there will be new models for Denon, it will still cost an arm and a leg here. I personally do not think it is abt tax issue here as Yammy 1800 price is 'reasonable'

based on the pricing on the web
lower end model for denon seems very reasonable but again when it reaches here i doubt it will be as cheap as USD 499 or 599
sadly most new model onli comes with 1 output cb
perhaps 2808 will get cheaper hehe when new AVR is out
