I think I shall just start a thread here and share whatever info I have for today with the community who will most certainly be interested.

For your information, Team Kingsurf.Dota is now participating in the E-sports Thailand Championship 2008. It is held in conjunction with the Bangkok Interactive Game Festival 2008 which seeks to market the gaming industry in Thailand. They were 1 of 3 foreign teams specifically got invited for the event to provide Thailand Dota Fans a glimpse of their skills. The teams that got invited along with Xcn from Indonesia and Zenith from Singapore.

So basically we have the top 3 teams in Asia participating in a 128 team LAN tournament event in Thailand. I shall try update this first thread as soon as I got the latest info from my contacts there. So stay tuned.

Update Sunday 10.45 am

Xcn , Zenith and Kingsurf were directly seeded top-32 in this 128 team tournament. From the latest info I got, Both 3 teams won 2 games respectively and will today start from a quarterfinal berth.
Kingsurf.Razer in particular did well stunning the current top Thailand team , Team Heroes of WAR (HOW) led by ACG 2006 finalist p0ng a seasoned and well-known player in the Thailand Dota Scene in the last 16 match yesterday.
Xcn and Zenith faced little resistance in their quest towards the quarterfinal. Xcn today will face Thailand's ADC season 1 representative Team ng.GZ for a place in the semi finals.
From my info , the brackets is place in such a way that Xcn will face Zenith first in the semi finals before potentially meeting up with Kingsurf in the finals. So keep our fingers crossed.
The event ends today which means the winner of this event will be crowned by the end of today.

Kingsurf next match is scheduled to be held at noon Malaysia / Sg time.

I will try my very best to update this thread with the latest info by constantly updating this first post here. So for Malaysia Dota Fans out there , do stay tuned.

There is a problem with Lakuci's comp as he got dced. Remake perhaps

Lakuci's Centaur is Xcn's only hope now.
Despite Yamateh's SF having Blink , BOT , Curass , BKB and iceiceice's 3 nice lures with his necro. The game is still very even.
Yamateh scores a triple kill and proceed to push through mid base. Xcn buys back and defends but losses middle base tower in the end. Ks was forced to retreat from the in coming heroes.
Ks repushed and took 1 of the mid rax.
Ks downed 3 Xcn base towers and 1 rax.
Ks suicides to push in the base and pays off. Xcn now losses 5 raxes in total
Without everyone's knowledge , the mega creeps destroyed the Throne of Xcn. LOL.

Wow i didn't know a huge scale eSports event like this is held in Thailand =) Looks very cool indeed!

By the time now should expect they going for final, but due to some technical issues, my fren cant setup GGTV though, coz both of us dunno any admin in GGC, well..even with admin here, there is no live ggtv anyway, they never setup the connection for mainstage PC.

its too late to pull, as it would effect the management of the building as well.

The recent ACGC 08 that is held in Timesquare was run based upon the same concept.

The attracted huge crowds at the event place but is limited by the floor place which is not as huge as those in the pictures.

Hope more events can be held at this kind of halls in the future in Malaysia.
