You can always plug another GC on it if you scare games doesn't run well with integrated graphic's.

But if you want to run Hybrid Crossfire, you need Windows Vista to do it smile.gif

HERE HERE!!! I also 780G chipset user... pretty cool mobo

However for those who are planning to get it or have just only got it... there are a few things to take note of :

1. Remember to set your Bios to the correct setting if you wanna run Hybrid crossfire.

2. The FPS is pretty decent using Hybrid crossfire by its not worth it if you wanna run high-end games. Better just get a much better GC... maybe something like 3870x2.. heheheh

3. Also, for Asus 780G chipset users, please remember to install the SM Bus from the installation disc cuz it doesn't seem to be installed automatically.

4. Chipset might be a problem right now because if you run Sandra Lite on it, the chipset model will come out as OS????. This has been raised and answered in the AMD forums. The reply they gave is that its a tagging error and does not hinder performance in any way. (Personally, I don't like it and I'm sure its all in my head but I feel the system is buggy)

Anybody tried the 780G with a 3650? I've read reports that says Hybrid crossfire works with it and then again I've read reports that says it doesn't. If nobody has.. I just might go and buy 1 to test.... anybody want to finance me? tongue.gif

I wonder if the built-in GPU would be better than my GeForce 6600 or not... hmm.gif

@triads418 : I've used both vista home 32 bit and XP home to test this mobo. Before I give any more comments please understand that I'm not an IT professional or in any way claiming to be more than just an average home user. Also all software installed is 100% original and no *ahem* versions.

Ok with my exclusion clauses done, I've experimented on the mobo both vista and xp using Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts and World of Warcraft. I dislike FPS la... sorry la....

Under vista : HD 3200 avg FPS at high settings no AA, was barely playable. With hybrid crossfire on it was playable but i encounterd some screen tearing. Fixed it with patching my display drivers to 8.3 and repatching my CoH. It seems 1 of my CoH patches was corrupted. So I dunno which was the problem.

Under XP : I've never tried the HD 3200 cuz lazy to take out the HD3450. (Bear in mind I'm a working man with who has only had this thing for 1 week so far). But using the HD 3450 i have pretty good framerates for CoH. 30 FPS at everything max but no AA. As for WoW, max settings on everthing with 45-60 FPS.

Why buy? : Hopefully the Hybrid crossfire technology will be applicable to later graphic cards such as the 3650 (yes 3650 owners out there.. go test and tell me pls!!!!!). Even if it isn't applicable, then it would be great to be able to switch between cards when gaming and watching movies. Movies can be watched with the HD 3200 with good results.. at least with my limited experience.

Therefore, I hope this little write-up helps. My lunch break is almost over cuz of it.... gotta go eat now.

edit : @HMMaster, the HD3450 is at par with a GeForce 6600 LE. Compared with my friends system. Can't give numbers but in terms of gaming experience it is the same.
