Already subscribed to DIGI, better latency, better speed and better service and more importantly, higher bandwidth!! 10GB with RM 10 extra charge, lol... Also , the usb modem is free of charge and it is unlocked, unlike that of maxis!

Mochachoke,

You have been publishing your great speeds since day 1 and still have not shared how you manage to get it...

Are you a Maxis staff testing in Maxis LAN network??

Since you say so, would you mind helping me out in getting the speeds too?

Just found out that I still have a few months left of the contract and then I can swap over.

It has been about 13 days since I signed up and I've had no problems thus far.
There is no contract , however, if I were to terminate the service, I've to pay the rm30 multiplied by number of months left (total is 1 year, starting from the month I signed up) for the USB modem given free to me. (huawei usb modem E160E).

Speed is stable for me, usually peak at 1.4mbps with upload ranging from 0.3-0.5 mbps. Gaming is free of lag and connection to international website is fast. It's way , way better than maxis, in my opinion.

we have to return the modem...that's where the lifetime warranty kicks in...the modem belongs to Maxis thus you can change them at the centre if we have any defects...

went to KLCC just now and saw the new modem...similar to Celcom but they have various plans (according to volume usage 1.5GB, 3GB, 6GB and 12GB) And the PC Fair promo is ON!!! nod.gif

im from bandar tasik selatan. for the past 2 weeks, the connection was very very bad. i can only manage to get dial up speed. previously i can get around 200kbps to 300kbps.

i went to subang airport in regular basis. the speed there is also ridiculous.. the only place i can get the hsdpa speed was KLIA..

the latency of digi looks great~! suprised that HSDPA can match Wimax technology. hope that it stays so, competition is always good.

Strange, I borrowed one MaxisBB + E220 and tried it out at a location near PGRM. The connection was EDGE and it stays there. I had to force it to 3G only and it picked up HSDPA with maximum bar. Download speeds were nearing 1Mbps. Pretty good. Then I move to my location in Taman Midah and I can only get 200-380kbps. I wonder why... It looks like its capped at 380kbps no matter what time of the day.

Pretty sure the service plan allows more than that and the quota has not been reached yet.
