Not as fast as yours but I get around 1.1 Mbps on average..sometimes for few hours it'll go up to about 1.6Mbps..its still good enough to download at least 120GB of data/month...when I was capped...it was *Mission Impossible*..lol Now I'm glad I'm capped anymore rclxm9.gif

Well for one thing if they say that they can get sued because they can guarantee it to all users in all areas. Also, Malaysian's ISP Infrastructure for Wireless Broadband is actually not enough...now they just want to tarik more customers to get enough funds to upgrade their infrastructure. In other European countries, the ISP has a lot of backers or investors and this is why their infrastructure is better than ours. In Malaysia companies need to *pusing duit* to get things rolling....

It is just a sudden burst on speedtest. smile.gif
Malaysia's wireless broadband infrastructure is only up to 3.6Mbps. smile.gif
Only DiGi has the infrastructure up to 14.4Mbps but it has not roll it out and sticks to 3.6Mbps. smile.gif

Though DiGi offers better service but remember there is strict FUP implementation on its packages.

i used to have maxshitt bb be.. i paid 100rm to get a new modem and online directly.. they give me 7 days trial for using this.... well, i get the modem at 9pm and go home i cant wait and try immedietely... i found that the speed was really sucks.. i take the 138 package... i cant even load a page.. keep dropping the line.. so another morning i return to maxis.. and i cant get back the 100rm immedietely.. have to wait 3months at least. so i change to celcom bb.. hmm.. so far i use celcom no problem.. quite happy with it.

i used to trust maxis so much last time.. but now i feel that maxshit is jsut like playing tricks and traps for earning more money... cause i face same problems in my phone billed. they overcharged me and the bill makes me so confuse... so i m considering to switch to celcom postpaid... haiz.z.... pity me..

??? How u guys getting 7.2mbps??? With digi??? Well with maxis.. i can only get about 2.6mbps..

btw.. zte mf600 users-- ure speed will never go higher than 1mbps.. (well my experience) and as one of the forumers posted.. its as good as dial up.. lol.. i recommend changing package (if u still want maxis that is) to the 3.6mbps.. alto i dun reli recommend it.. cuz well.. u wont get 3.6mbps and their 3gb cap is a killer. T.T might as well advertise ... 0.08mbps dl and 0.06mbps upload.

well.. i agree. but it does depend on ur signal strength alot.. as my connection doesnt drop that much, and usually the first day is the most unstable.. i duno bout others, but on my 2nd day, it was much better, not up to expectations but better definitely.

The past couple of days, I've been experiencing slow internet speed from my Maxis USB Broadband. I had subscribed to the 3.6mbps package.
It used to be blazing fast but now its like as slow as a snail -.-'
How do I solve this problem?
Anyone experiencing the same problem?
Thanks a million..

It sounds like you do have internal connections with someone in Maxis

Its possible to get up to 6Mbps , their towers do support up to 7.2Mbps downlink (yes it does because they are bringing in iPhone 3GS and its another valid reason). So consider yourself to be lucky !

Beyond 6Mbps , its a no go. Sorry to say that , its either cache or burst speeds that you're getting which isn't the real thing
