agreed. one of the editors for Novell website said that... most people dont stay long with linux or even tryout linux because of the reading process. NO TIME / NO PATIENCE (im used to be like that too tongue.gif)..... but now since im working and not studying... i have time to try out linux on my personal laptop.... and hopefully not just trying it out... planning to permanently leave windows behind... unless i can get original windows than no problem (starting to think of legal rights / HALAL / HARAM).....

if u wana dual boot then it's wubi la. it installs ubuntu as a program itself in windows and u get to choose OS when u power up/restart.

I used Linux because I wanted to try an OS that is 'the talk of the Internet' and is not involved in a heated battle between Windows and Mac. laugh.gif

It's not that hard to use Linux, I really like it's smooth and clean interface.. although it's commands take a little getting used to sweat.gif

i'm using backtrack for pentest tools .... and most important is, linux is faster ... i dont want to wait for a couple of minutes just to boot the os. I can run Windows in linux using virtualbox without problem.
