don't need to worry about renewal issue. pass the exam first and obtain the certificate. this is the very first thing for CCNA taker.

I don't exactly know where i can post the current topic of mine so i'll just post it here. Mods feel free to move this thread to any appropriate places.

Just wanted to find out are there any reasonable places for me to take the CCNA course around PJ or KL area. I was thinking of taking the course in Sunway College.. Is the course there good?

the exam is computer based....every question is on 1 page....u can only go forward not backward (meaning u cannot change the answer or review ur answers...). As such there is a specific section which requires u to execute commands....such as if they were to ask u to configure a router to an ethernet port and u enter a serial port...u cannot go back...if they ask u to display the configurations and u enter the ethernet interface..u cannot go back...meaning...any mistakes and u are doomed..

Hands-on are very much a main part of CCNA..unless u have our own hardware to configure or u have the simulator (which does NOT support certain commands...)

i was told that...even if ur CCNA was to expire..taking a new cert from CISCO...automatically renews it....at least that was wat the lecturer who taught me CCNA told me....he is doing his CCIE now....taking the tests in Tokyo on september...

ya, just taking exploration course not worth it in the job market. better take CCNA cert.
im a networking student and exploration course is my core subject in my uni. but my lecturer ask us to take CCNAas it is more demand in the job market. I take CCNA last Disember for free as my uni provide everything.. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif
