 Celeron duo core E1200 Problem in Core Speed

I jux Build A intel duo core E1200 with biostar p4m900-m7 se but when i open CPU-Z it Specify the Core Speed is 200*6 = 1200 mhz instead of the original Speed 200*8 = 1600 mhz how will this happen pls advice k thx

u can adjust the multipier in bios/jumper

EIST and C1E is enabled.
This is the technology whereby when you do not use CPU, it will down clock the clock speed in order to save the power. wink.gif

its normal. its call intel speedstep tech. when u inidle, the speed is reduce, whenu load, it will go to full speed

the mobo does not have multiplier to adjust jux have the FSB and RAM frequency normal adjustment only cry.gif

check in advance bios and disbale eist and c1e function.

should be getting 1.6ghz.

Intel EIST and C1E function is suppose to be good for energy efficiency, rite? I don't see any reason why should it be disable hmm.gif

Yep.. there's no reason to disable it except during overclocking, cos somehow it will cause problem.

You dont need to use the actual speed when your cpu isnt under load, but it will become x8 when u start to use it under load such as playing games. So dont worry about it.

your system should be in idle.....you try stess the cpu like folding .then it will increase back
