Yeah, that pretty much sums it up... ========================================== Imperial Archive - Past Events ========================================== » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Tbun Aman Suria Battle Brawl bash event Conclusion: The prelimenary ended up with the top 4 generals: 1) Heaven 2)SoulBurner 3)Fulgrim 4)Waba Team 1 - Heaven + Osiris + rie + fuj Team 2 - 5ouLBuRneR + 2 GOCC + Game circle owner Team 3 - Fulgrim\|GOCC + Hunt Team 4 - Waba + left overs Team 1 vs Team 2 - Team 1 WON Lead by Heaven and Osiris, the two LYNKs cooked up a plan as they stormed the center, fortified their position and went forth to assassinate fellow LYNK general 5ouLBuRneR. 5ouLBuRneR was heard screaming traitoooooooooooors! as the arch heretic himself was defeated, the irony. Team 3 vs Team 4 - Team 3 WON Realising the threat of the foul xeno greyskin goofy, Waba lead an ally to assault and crippled the tau commander while leaving the other flanks to the rest of the team. Meanwhile Warboss Hunt was somewhere in the middle sitting atop of a massive pile of requisition puffing orky cigarettes. He simply denoted 5000 req to the Tau commander when the forces on the other side retreated. It was as if the assault never happened. gg FINAL Team 1 vs Team 3 - Team 3 WON Tau + IG + CSM + IG vs SM + ork + tau + eldar Battle of full support units vs Massive amount of front line troops. Team 1 failed to capture the center as Big Mek and vespid blowed up turrets after turrets on the site. Eldar player 1337 spam Dark Reapers until the horizon denying Team 1's troop advancement. A solid combination of boyz, tac marines, DRs and fire warriors made short work of Team 1's GMs and cultists. After which they stormed osi's Tau base and burned it to the ground, it was down hill for team one ever since. Conclusion: The event is actually a test for the organisers to experiment a format which give chance to everyone who joined the game and it allowed everyone to play almost to the end as opposed to the traditional format of letting the noobs sit out for the rest of the event after round 1. As far as i can see and tell, it was fun and bash until the end and everyone had a fair share of chance up till the end. Good games. Untold number of souls being purged by the flame of conflict and still more lost to the friendly fire. A few record has been broken today, from the first ever casualty of drop pod mulfunction of Osiris regiment, new comers beating LYNK veterian members to the first ever human race achieving first place out of the 5 tournamnets so far. Although the conflict here ended, out there in the corners of the universe eternal war continue to whack havoc across the dark space of 40k. Dawn of War is an RTS game that created in 2006 that based on the popular Tabletop game Warhammer 40K. It had great success It has expanded to 3 expansions Winter Assault making debut to the Imperial Guard (one of the DOW playable races) and Dark Crusade making debut to Tau and Necron ( another one of the DOW playable races). Soon a new expansion called Soulstorm made by an outside studio "Iron Lore". Soulstorm introduce 2 more new race which is only 1 race is so far announce. Who are called the Dark Eldar. Each expansion comes with different game play style but it's recommended to play the lastest expansion if you don't want to be left out. Who are we? A bunch of dedicated Malaysian DOW fans who enjoys playing DOW and just want to have a place to get together. What do we do? We discuss strategy, tactics, current news or just random chit chats, but mostly DOW related stuff Anything else? If you are ever lonely or just want to make a friend and play a game at the same time or you're just bored of AI then we have a DOW gaming session for everyone to meet up once a week. Well the Relic created a flexible system so you don't really need all 4 expansions to play. If u just want to play the 2 races Tau and Necron online then Dark Crusade is just enough. If you want play Space Marine, Chaos, Eldar and Orks then Dawn of war is needed. If you really really must have IG then you need Winter assault. Currently with Soulstorm coming is highly assume Soulstorm is needed to play the 2 new race. So it can't be confirmed until the game is release. Space Hulk Coop is a Modification of the RTS game Dawn of War. Coop is by no means a multi-player only style of game, but a more fast and furious style. The only things that differs from the "Coming Soon" Single Player edition is Weapon Jams and Blip markers. Space Hulk is all about Strategy and a players ability to work out the odds! In Single Player e.g. is the corridor long enough for me to clear a jam if I get one. Coop is similar e.g. is this corridor long enough for me to kill the next on coming horde. This is why it is called Coop, the game design was created to handle 2/3 squads of terminators versa 2 possible AI enemies Chaos Warp Spawns or of course Genestealers. You can put in some AI Terminator squads if you need the help, I built the squads on top of the normal Dawn of War AI. So they will move around and engage the enemy while you complete the mission. I would recommend playing online as well, the code has been setup so that allied squads can complete the mission objectives as well. This new Version of Space Hulk Coop : version 0.8 has some new features in it. One is of course some new maps. More cooler than that is the new Retrieve Relic Mission Type. There is a relic on the map naturally and you have to get it, once a terminator grabs it he becomes the relic holder. Then you must protect the relic holder and get him to the designated exit. If the Relic holder is killed then the enemy gets the relic and you fail the mission. The real catch is that the exit point is random. It might not be in the same place next time you play, hehe! And Cooler than that, I have added a new kill team - Enter the Necrons! Now, they looked why to cool not to have them in their. Don't panic Necrons fans, I didn't do a dodge job! They have their own UI and their own unique abilities. Terminator's are more robust (as you would expect), but the Necrons have strong abilities that makes up for strength. I would be interested to hear from any Necron fans about them. I haven't done an AI for the Necrons so you would be on your own with that one. I have also done a Necron ship interior to complete the Necron Feel.
