I doubt he will pay back.Most cases like this just go cold.Sorry if I sound harsh but you should push for a police report and make sure you get someone there that is ur friend so they can get it on quick in solving this case

dont mind me asking but how'd u get his IP address? from YM?

With conman all over the place now shouldnt we just use some IP checker so no person may have more than 1 nick on a comp?

yes from YM..and LYN mod also can track the IP..so i can TMNET to trace his phone no and address
