norton 360 slow the whole pc down. to be frank i dont favor it.

just imagine after i click print button, i wait 1 minute for the printer to start print. --with norton 360 installed.

Protection is good...i can say 98% protected but it make business/ offices networking a challenge to reconfigure again.

for home user maybe okay..

There is not such thing as the "BEST ANTIVIRUS". But I know a few recommended antivirus.

PAID Antivirus:

ESET NOD32. - Very light but a bit non-userfriendly

Kasperky Internet Security - Not suitable for some low-end computer

Bitdefender - Can be a bit of a system hog
NOT RECOMMENDED:

All Norton products. - Many bad reviews.

Avira Premium -  Many false positive(Take the free version instead)

Avast - Many false positive(Take the free version instead)
Free Antivirus:

AVG - Great virus detection

Avira - Excellent virus protection but many false positives.

Avast - Great virus detection but many false positives.
GOOD LUCK! smile.gif

That's the main reason of trial version, to try out before buy it, because for some reasom eventhough there's a lot of bugs fixed, there can or will be an unknown bug or error on certain computer, based on the hardware or software installed...

Bitdefender is quite good, excellent virus detection and heuristic engine and good antispyware. But i recommended you to use another antispyware@antitrojan, such as spybot; spyware terminator; malwarebytes antimalware or avg antispyware, or any other choice of your own...

bitdefender.....u go lowyat plaza buy.. less than RM 50 for 1 year
totally auto block those stupid ass virus...etc...my advice dont go porn site and most of the China website....will auto download those virus for u..then finish...but if u use bitdefender even got virus in ur pc also can remove permenant

PS: ppl dont like norton becoz whenver u boot up ur pc..it will automatic run scan for u....even is hidden u wont know...so the load time will slow..and who will have 4 gb ram..unless is gamer..or other purpose..normal pc wont have 2 gb ram..
