im using Bitcomet long time ago... just dl the 0.99 and using now...

im on 1mb streamyx package but my speed is actually 1536/512
and max speed can get around 120~130kB/s... using Aztech 305EW old skool modem router tongue.gif

so, i guess its depends on the line...

and for the firewall, my setting is ON all time (Router and Window), i just that port forward my bicomet listening port in my router and window firewall. and it works well...

Bitcomet name it LongTime Seed , something like H2H (Http)

quote other forum

Here is something about P2SP: P2SP is an extension of P2P, the "S" represents Server, which mean it utilize HTTP/FTP servers in addtion to the P2P peers, thereby increase the availability, stability and performance of the download. P2SP is available in other software like Gigaget, XunLei long time already, and it really help to increase the download speed significantly.

FIY, XunLei (aka Thunder) is a popular download software from China which is well known for its P2SP feature, many sites in china support this software and therefore the download speed is very fast, you can download XunLei
