Boss, just to cite an example tongue.gif since most HMs or GFs oppose to HD pj. So, really need them to see in order to believe. My wife also same. If watch BD, she ll ditch the 43" and go to HT room to watch it o 92"

Hi all, i have trouble finding a good LCD. Been going to electrical shop a lot of times but still cannot make up my mind. Can you provide some suggestions?

I m looking for a 40"/42" FullHD LCD at less than RM6k, prefarably under 5k.

I have been looking at Sony, Sharp, Panasonic, Toshiba and Samsung but juz don understand which one is better or worse.

Thanks.biggrin.gif

If i'm not mistaken LG 40" 1080P is at around 4.3k, not sure the exact model though because I saw it at Carefour.

I believe in specs, for example the Phillips 32" LCD has a nice design with 33k contrast ratio, but with 8.5ms, that's not good enough for games with high FPS icon_rolleyes.gif

Its actually true when we say we believe in our eyes. Try looking at the setup menu in the LCD TV, and bring ur desired Blu Ray or HD content to be viewed. Better yet, bring your own seperate PS3 if you have one and then try it out.

Then you will believe why it should be about believing your eyes. biggrin.gif

My main usage for this 40"/42" LCD TV would be for gaming / blu-ray ,hd stuffs and watching video files from pc. So which LCD TV will better suit me?

Thanks biggrin.gif

@Mr. Ez, woah, if there was a girl reading this thread, you'd be in hot water already. biggrin.gif

What you explained is correct too. So, either way, try to get both qualities in tact. The hard part is when you know the more quality a TV offers, the less cheaper it gets. sad.gif
