Isn't that model exclusive to SenQ in Malaysia?

I have seen it, but not tested it. Initial impression is that it is so much more better than 530 in terms of contrast.

Can't really comment on the price because I would have gotten a Panasonic S10 with that price. But then I prefer playing in the dark so plasma suits me better. But if you were to get it remember to get the +2yrs warranty as well smile.gif

I just saw on Star Newspaper page N53 on 14th Nov 2009 - Sony 32" Full HD LCD TV KLV32S550A by HSL for Rm1,899.

Do you think its really Full HD? If so, is it a good deal?

Edit: Hmm, according to the website Sony.com.my, its only HD Ready but the ad says Full HD. Wrong info?

Depends what you intend to play, if your sources aren't FHD then HD Ready would be a better choice (money and PQ wise). And if you can wait then of course it would be better, since the prices will drop for sure.

Yeah.. i think i saw the same Sony model as one of the forumer mentioned.

its around 1.8k as well in Jusco 1U.. and they write full HD
i counter-check in Sony outlets and website the cheapest FHD 32" is around 2.5k

Most PS3 games are HD Ready, but then of course you'd get some FHD games here and there.
