why print test got blur in some part ?
print head got problem?

no idea. maybe printhead la kot. last time using it (print result ok) is on april 2007 i think. so its about 1 year already not running ~

erry, ko chek which printhead yang still running well leh?
kalau leh aku nak beli printhead jek...can?

UPDATE: CONFIRMED THE PRINT HEAD IS FAULTY ~

I have no idea how much the cost for print head replacement.

this model printer head all got problem damn, last time my fren and my one all also printer head issue.

FYI, the printer head cost almost like a new printer

i dont know how much the print head cost, but as far as i know, this model dont have new stock anymore. so no idea regarding it new price.

the new pixma series (example ip1880) using expensive catridge (combine with print head), cost more than rm50 for black ink.

while this pixma 1k catridge is the cheapest in the market! somemore got compatible 1, less than rm10. hehe

my friend using it since 2002 (6 years already), still working.
and i believe there are also so many people out there who using this pixma 1k still dont have problem with the print head.

this printer need to use (print something) at least 1 page in a week to keep the print head working.
cannot leave it too long without print

ip1000 Print head worth RM100+/-

if u compare buying newer printer.. this printer is more save cost n easy to refill.. but the probs is, the waste ink tank is small...
