Just wondering, how many of you have registered for this 'entrecard' thing?...

And how good it is?... hmm.gif

Entrecard is the first and only free exchange network for 125x125 ads. Through this revolutionary platform, you can advertise your own 125x125 Entrecard on any blog in the network, for free, for a number of days.

You pay for this advertising with Entrecard Credits, that you earn for free by networking (a.k.a. visiting blogs and dropping your card for other bloggers).

I think it's too much non-productive work, also if the traffic consists of other blog owners, they're not gonna buy anything or click on any ads, that's for sure.

Don't bigger sites like blogcatalog already automate the 'namecard' process in a seamless way using cookies alone?

i only receive 20 drop per days... but most of the time i drop alot at other website...

few pros and cons actually...

Pros:
alexa rank will increase
more expose for your blog
can advertise your image/logo at other people blog
I take this oppurtunity to visit more blog which same categories with mine

cons:
some blogger bandwidth exceeded after join this program ( too preety logo, attract alot people click)
fake traffic, some visitor come for drop card only
waste time droping a lot card and earn less traffic.

any one may add on your opinion...

If you take time to drop back onto those who dropped on you in the first place, you will receive more drops per day. They call this Reciprocal Dropping or simply - "You Drop I Follow"

QUOTE
cons:
some blogger bandwidth exceeded after join this program ( too preety logo, attract alot people click)

They should have got a better web hosting package with more monthly bandwidth to burn.

QUOTE
fake traffic, some visitor come for drop card only

This is unavoidable. However, if you have quality content that manages to catches the interest of genuine readers, more plus for you.

QUOTE
waste time droping a lot card and earn less traffic.

Depends on how you utilize it.
Different usage yields different results.

In the long run, it would be much better if you do reciprocal drops instead of those so called "Power Dropping" methods.

Power Dropping will earn you some fast EntreCredits, but it won't help much you in the long run.

the only thing that's holding me back from using entrecard is creating the graphic for it smile.gif Anyone with similar concern?

Not much of a designer...

@banji:
You don't need to be an awesome graphic designer to come up with good EntreCard designs.
