oh man, really? i mean.. is it bricked already?

I've joined the 3ROD club . My unit was purchased few months ago from a Singaporean who just RMA it from Microsoft. Meaning its a refurb set, and it died with less than 10 hours total play since i purchased it.

Now, most probably i'll send it back to Singapore. The thing is, can i just bring the console and power supply only? I dont have any receipt or documentations.

Actually you only need the core unit (Meaning console minus hdd) and nothing else

even if u leave your hdd there, they will just switch over to the newly refurb console.

Haha i never did it myself i just purchased it from a guy who did it himself . Will they be able to trace the original date of purchase of the first original console (the console before this) to determine my warranty status?

Anyone here with experience RMAing their units, how long did it take before they call you for collection?

Naw, Receipt will help but your S/N should be good enough.

If they have stock, you can exchange immediately. Otherwise it will be up to 2 weeks. Mine took 10 days the last time i exchanged. Died after 8 months, now it is almost 1 year after i exchanged and still going good

Well i heard Opus is around . If there is confirmed word that the RMAed units from Sg is Opus, i might time my RMA to get it =.=.

Sigh the sad thing is that i've rarely had time to play it. Sad

Yeah sudah mati, good thing it was still under warranty, but i replaced it with a falcon elite, which 3ROD in less than 6 months!

i wanted to buy an xbox360 but crystal fro gamer's solution said that newer chip coming in july and ask me to wait as currently even falcon also has high failure rate..

so any news on the newer chip?

nope. nothing that I head off, jasper, Valhalla... no news at all, even united state still haven't seen the new SKU Yet.

any xbox360 revive after sending the said shop at sg wang?

1 already revived...under reballing list.....his x360 was previously couldnt revived at all by any means.....

If say like I play high end game example gears of war, halo 3, cod 4 and etc, The screen show dot dot black all over the screen is what problem?

If for halo 3, the menu background is damn white. Can't see anything. While playing, all like damn bright and white.

If play games like pgr, PES and etc which low end, everything looks fine.

Can this be cure? Or is it gone for good?

nice...very excited to meet this man soon...hopefully mine could revive too.

rumour said jasper sku will be coming on 08/08/08....don't know if it true or not...but rumour also said the jasper sku will be released August this year....
