Deluge 1.0.0

- Now it's a whopping 140mb+- on hdd walaoweh O_o if you use the Windows 32 bit installer.

- Still clunky like the RCs. This is becoming the old Azureus all over again.

- But on the other hand when your pair it with cfosspeed, it gets back to "pre-when tmnut hard to throttle version 0.5.9.3 days" a bit. You won't get that surprisingly good transfers as before but for the recent weeks' bt'ing grouses, this release kinda relieves it a bitlah.

I just posted this if anyone might have better lucks with the release.

I'm using the latest version. Previously I've been using 0.5.9.2 which had great downloads speeds however as time passed on the c++ errors became more frequent, so I decided to try the new one.

The speed now is usually slow. I'm downloading two torrents at the moment and the combined speed is 15-30KBps. Sometimes it cab hit peaks of 160KBps, but usually it doesnt last for more than 10 minutes (in the old version I could get 160 all the day long if it wasnt for the c++ error).

I checked the peers tab and almost all of the download comes from a single peer (not from malaysia though, sometimes the US, Canada.. etc). Is this slow speed because of the throttle or because of my settings or deluge itself?

somehow hotspot shield doesnt work for me anymore. worked well for 2 days. can't seem to connect now.

so the common speed for the stable 0.5.9.3 version is 35kbps? that is what i'm getting now. very angry with tmnet. how's the new 1.0.0.0 version? does it make the pc lag or something? that's the case with the RC versions. how's it now? i would install it if it give good speeds.

Yup, slow speed and it drags my machine (it equips with a 4 GB of RAM). Deluge is DEAD! To those who wants to use it, use the older version such as 0.5.9.3

Damn seems like Deluge is really dead.

1) I was previously a big supporter of uTorrent then Streamyx throttled uTorrent...
2) Then Deluge came and they could bypass the throttling...
3) Now Streamyx throttles Deluge and I tried back uTorrent and I am getting better speeds with uTorrent...

sigh.. looks like its bye bye Deluge (0.5.9.3)... heh dont even think about version 1.0.0.0 doh.gif

omg Deluge is really broken.... I tried installing version 1.0.0 and for the past half and hour I cannot even add a torrent. sweat.gif

But then again I am using the windows port... so I guess Linux members will have more luck at Deluge at guess.
