I used the keyboard to play KOF and SF... No problems also.... Kinda easier when u use keyboard to pull off moves rather than the joystick coz joystick u can't control a 180 and 90... Keyboard allows u to do that.... But I also can play on the gamepad and the arcade joysticks....

Mayb gaming keyboard allows u to play easier??

Anyway, SF4 will not be announced for the PC IMO.... Looking back at history, the onli game that is ported over to PC is SSF2T.... The others are on emulators... Most likely will appear on Xbox 360 and PS3 if it were to bring it to consoles.... As for PC, just can onli hope....

because is not practical 2 play on keyboard its meant 4 console only GH3 is exception though but i still cannot pull out the special guitar riffs with keyboard

well.. at least we have Guilty Gear on PC... though kind of pening playing that game. Not familiar with it's concept.. especially Isuka

Guilty Gear is alright, didn't like the gameplay but I love the ingame music / soundtrack and the art direction.

I love the older KOF from '96 to 2000. Didn't like the rest, especially when the boss are near impossible to beat without cheating.

Capcom should bring back those Marvel VS Capcom / Street Fighter / Xmen / God knows what back. Throwing big fireballs and doing air combo is fun. (I do aircombos with a keyboard too)

Too bad they lost their license for Marvel.

I reckon having fighting games make more sense on PC.

Easier to compete with other people. Easier to hold leagues and so on. Like FPS. Fighting games usually last one min to one to 2 mins max.

I think it's gonna be arcade simply because I think Capcom can get more money that way.

If you really must know, there's no actual forum for arcade titles. Some threads here are devoted to arcade titles, some threads in the Couch are devoted to arcade titles. Its just something we never bothered defining because of the small following.

So, sihum, as my opposite number over at the Couch, what say you? Arcade goes belongs in the Hideout or on the Couch?

I seriously don't know, on each side I can say we have the same amount of audience. PC gamers play Arcades, Console Gamers play Arcades too

I think it's a little more appropriate to have it on the Couch side, but like you said, it's too small of a following to have their own designated subforum and/or place.

Nah, theres are a few VERSUS games were out for pc, not only SSF2T.

Popular ones would be MortalKombat series, SFAlpha, SFAlpha2, X-MEN, GuiltyGear, VirtuaFighter (and yes those are not on emulators).. those games that i can think of for now.. and they are some VERSUS games that are pc based only... which normally sucked


u do know pc has various selections of peripherals rite?.. and gamepads for pc has been here for a long time too, and they are much more affordable now (not to mention since pc have convertors)... imo not really an excuse for PC nowadays.. imo it depends on the game devs wanna to have their game "exclusively" (or some marketing strategy) for certain consoles/pc/arcades.

Anyway,four old characters have been confirmed.No real surprises,except for Dhalsim.

I hope they put all the 8 characters of SF2 back in,especially Zangief.I know there's Hugo.But he just ain't the Russian Cyclone.

Arcade scene in Malaysia is almost dead(i'm just talking bout VS games).Why i say almost is just becuase its still alive and kicking in few places though.Only hardcore gamers patrol the arcades now.Mentality of gamers have changed.

For those ppl(me included) who had the opportunity to experience the arcade scene at its gloriest during the whole of 90's,most of us have other commintments now.

But who knows,maybe i might have that little fire left in me to give SF4 a go if its good enough,if not for the nostalgic reason.

I hope SF4 will be out in the arcades and hopefully Capcom arcade in Sungei Wang will come back to life.
