for foobar2000 v0.8.3



Download column ui, extract it into your foobar/components directory.

Download Azrael config from this page. For more Azrael color config go to Azrael documentation page.

Run foobar, go to its preferences, and select ColumnsUI as the "User Interface Module" under the "Display" section in the options window. Restart foobar.

Go to preferences > Display > ColumnsUI > Other tab, select "import" from that screen and import Azrael.

For custom button, get it from here. Change it in Display -> ColumnsUI > Other > select "Use custom buttons".

Latest version of zlib.dll and libpng.dll (extract into foobar200 folder)

replace the number in $puts(color_scheme,14) with the number listed.. as you can see #13 is my config

Custom Sorting

Put this in Preferences > Core (for v0.8.3) or Preferences > General (for v0.9.x) and foobar will sort added files in this order:
directory -> artist -> album (released date) -> track #

how to edit the tag so that u can display song title in chinese without needing to open njwin/chinese star...so ur list will look neater

first of all..u need to enable the windows IME thingy..
how to enable it...

okay..if u r done with it...lets proceed to editing the title

this song is richie ren's - u r my wife 任贤齐 - 你是我老婆

okay..now how to edit it... first select the file right click...click on the properties tab
something lidis will pop up

then.. select the property u wanna edit...for example now im editing the title
u highlight the title by clicking it once
then click the EDIT tab
a window like this will popup


then replace the field value using chinese word typed using windows IME
like in my case the title is 你是我老婆
so i replace the field value with 你是我老婆

click ok...then click update file tab
so the file name will become like this

then u proceed the same procedure to edit the artist, album, genre and stuffs

but sometimes the font used in ur filelist doesnt suppose the word u typed in...it will display it as boxes...but no worries...ur proper mp3 tag will display on the title bar

now i changed the column UI settings..

now the playlist can display chinese word properly...neat and nice

how can I get the artist name tab like you guys did? I only manage to get like the picture i attached below. I did follow all your steps though. I'm using the latest foobar and foo_ui_columns.dll too.

when using foobar I realized that my mp3 tag is very unorganized.

Azrael config is mostly suited for a properly tagged full album, since you got alot of singles, do try Minna

Just started using foobar2000 last night
tweak it the whole night but in the end gave up and use the special install pack (or something like that) and changed the color and font..
Now it looks just cool to me !!!

i just install foobar yesterday. you'll need to enable eq or it sounds like winamp without eq... kinda blur and bassy...

Last time i did install foobar2000, then uninstall.. now i wanna try it again im using the acedriver theme now.. nothing interesting about my screen shoot.

Question: We cant really mod foobar2000 like modding desk + winamp with skin right?

btw, foobar also got some nice skins , like winamp too .

^ F3 is the playlist search. Volume can be controlled with + - buttons (i often use the one at the num buttons). Not so sure about midi though.
