Hmm bought a WHITE 530d but the remote is a basic one with power mute and volome up/down how to control treble and bass should i take it back and ask for REAL remote... basic remote sucks

Received your pic and think the controller you get in not for the S530D.
I will check with office on next Tuesday and will courier you another 1 once i confirm the remote got problem.

The SRP od S530D is RM759.
Most of the shop will charge 2-3% if u use the credit card.

I saw some shops selling the edifier s530d for which the printed title is not "Passion for sound".Does it has prob?Is it the same no matter the slogan is different?

We just change the slogan last year, may be they still using the old slogan.

So means that those speakers which are not slogan-ed "Passion for sound" are not new stock is it?Did Edifier changes the contents of the speaker as it changes the slogan?

as currently when switch to pc, guitar off . when switch to guitar, pc off. is there any way to enable both?

I don think can do it with the speaker inputs. You can try to buy those 2 to 1 sources combination cable (i am not sure this is the name for it), meaning it allow you to plug in 2 devices at the same time to one input.

I bought this speaker last pc fair. Before Im using laptop only and I user this as a speaker. Now, I bought high end desktop computer with optical audio connection and 5.1 channel for audio. I just want to know if I it's possible to expand S530D from 2.1 set-up to 5.1 set-up? Where can I buy additional speakers and how much.

Added on November 30, 2009, 12:43 amI bought Edifier S530d just few months back and for the past few weeks it's been working fine. Only last week, I notice that even though I tun up or down the volume using the wired controller or using the remote controller (while paying MP3, AVI, etc etc), the volume being emitted by the speaker does not change. Even though I mute it, and I play some MP3, there is still a sound being emitted in the speaker (meaning the input shown in the controller is not recognize by the speaker). I am connected to my CPU desktop computer using optical fiber audio connecting table. Below is the specs of my cpu
