No chimping actually trains you to be a better photographer. You are able to understand ambient light, the use of exposure, shutter speed and ISO better. Imagine you have a shot of a lifetime, and you are able to adjust settings accordingly without taking a shot first and then see if it works. Its just a way for us to also rely more on what you see through the viewfinder rather than take snapshots and chimp non-stop. Useful when you shoot events as most of the time you don't have the time to chimp or you might miss a special moment. I like the no chimping outing, would love to attend that for sure! |
