Not sure where is the Jalan Gombak but I guess it will be a good kickstart for you to test out the market and build up the customer base over there .. any opening ceremony event or maybe promotional session for the first month or the first *number* of customers to your shop ? smile.gif

Cheers ~

Seems like a strategic location. I always go to the pasar there. Maybe while I go shopping there, I can bring along my dirty clothes and drop by..
Definitely a worth-while journey for me. Killing 2 birds with just one stone. Drink while diving..
Kinda cool..

wat smell u wan?
interested on this.
as TS said. cover cost, which is around 80k in 2 years.
that mean each month profit around RM3300++ ??
rclxms.gif
important!

This is achievable if you consider, every laundry i take cost me around RM6. I assume the laundry sector get 40% profit from sales, then the sales need to be RM8250 = RM275/day. Consider the location 45 customer / day is achievable. 6 Customer per hours needed.

Hmm its a wear and tear equipment, better take proper care on your machine. This business has low profit margin and above average maintenance cost.

Any other strategy than just waiting for the walk in customer to come by? Do you own the retail shop or area?

I am surprised to see in your thread, people are so friendly basically it shows you know how to communicate with people very well, polite and low profile.

Likewise, i believe yr business will be good if you adopt the same approach, the way you talk to us ( lowyat.net members }, people will come to you when you show your care, concern and warm .

Yes, you can do it !

When you make your mind to go into business, and need morale support, best to read motivation books from ROBERT KIYOSAKI

1) rich dad, poor dad ( part 1)
2) Cashflow Quadrant ( part 2)

The books give your plenty of reasons why you should stop working for people, and all the reasons to start your own business. Whenever you are in doubt, take out the books and read them again. Put them next to your bed, read something out from the books before you go to sleep, your mind will go on auto-mode to start to search for answers that you want, and to focus on the positive matters. Business people need to build up strong mindset.

All the best to you.
