Personally i hate the mecha and char designs in Demonbane. But i think this is Ichiro Itano's (of Macross' itano circus fame) next anime directing job. This should be interesting but has huge potential to be train wreck as well.

These 2 statements seem to be wrong.... swt. If think you mean nitroplus = crappy due to the Demonbane anime? But dun think nitroplus had anything to do with it except original source material.

I enjoyed Phantom of the Inferno visual novel, it has nice writing despite slow pacing and gun obsession went with it.

However, I have jarring memories of Demonbane anime (shame, I seen the game story and it looks decent) and equally godawful Phantom of the Inferno OVA ( it is a serious waste of time).

Fate Zero is great stuff thanks to tight writing from same scenarist from Nitroplus.

But this project raised 1 BIG red flag for me, namely Gonzo. I liked some Gonzo project like Last EXILE but most of their production is not exactly high brow for me.

Will look at it with great trepidation, that's for sure.

Interesting... I am usually not a fan of cellshaded in anime, but this looks pretty cool. The action kinda reminds me of Karas for some reason....

Some anime blogger said that this series is bad. mainly due to the CG? or because they have high expectation after watching druaga? well, for me, it is actually not bad. the story is pretty interesting and i love the mecha + bike. looking forward to epi2. smile.gif
