The 1st pic is the Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui~~ The building on the right hand side is Harbour City, a few steps backward (which is not included in the pic) is the China HongKong City, where the ferry from Macau arrives! All arriving HK by ferry from Macau can take this pic as a reference... wink.gif

hi.. just want to ask whether where to get the visa to go to shenzhen?..let say if i were to drop by at shenzhen from hong kong for a day..do i need to apply the visa from malaysia or at the shenzhen border itself? how much will the visa cost? thanks!

Just heard from my mum that when my Singaporean relatives came to HK and dropped by Shenzhen, they applied the visa thru China Travel Service branches in HK. Check it out here : http://www.ctshk.com/english/useful/chinesevisa.htm

My singaporean friends tell me they no need VISA but we malaysian need do VISA to visit china.

Yup... just went to HK+Guangzhou+Shenzhen last month with my singaporean friend... no need Visa to China for Singaporean for those staying less than 3 months i think...

M'sians need visa to travel to CHINA. easy to get and yes, can obtain at border patrol station. Apply there also can apply here if u dowan the hassle when u reach there.

Singaporeans do not need visa when travelling to China for grace periods of 30 days and below.
Malaysian need visa to go wherever we want to go.

@northasian - my sister in law is Hongkee. Live where i dunno, but if its possible, can i pm you some questions regarding my trip ? perhaps u cna offer me some advice. would like u to expand some details and of course to recommend me some places.

'coz the old one has been combined with other HK thread by the MOD.. then I couldn't edit the info in post #1, so I asked MOD to close the old combined one and open a new one instead... tongue.gif

Eh HK & Macau no need Visa-leh...Only Shenzhen in China need Visa

The ferry fare (one of few operators..u can google for more):

M'sian passport NO NEED visa to enter Hong Kong and Macau. Visa is needed only for other provinces in China except HK and Macau.

Ferry cost please check from ferry companies' website I posted on #1 post, thanks!

Yes, Mongkok got some hawker stalls (no longer real hawker, just shoplot selling hawker food) around Fa Yuen Street & Sai Yeung Choi Street..

43.8 lowest at mid valley megamall. The rest 44.4 and 44.3 at Sg Wang KL.
