wa0582, u could just register at the web given there.. when choosing package type.. select the last 1 as a free trial.

Server Ip are kept private to registered members only

im sharing connection with housemates.. so far get a 60+kb/sec
maybe streamyx prob i can say.. anyway im using 1mb package(streamyx)

the vpn free trial 1 day is from torrent to server or server to my pc ?

we havent start our VPN service.
currently torrentflux is download torrent files to our server then only transfer the files to ur pc by urself..

as i mentioned before ... this is a private vpn server ... all your downloads belongs to you and no one else can view it.
You may chmod it to let other ppl view your downloads and others have the same rights as you to let u view the file or not.





it could be tmnuts side routing problem. On my streamyx i am downloading happily at over 120Kb/s with no fluctuation in line speed at all.

try reconnecting again. I will post up few screen shots later showing my downloading speeds.





I dont think i mention about vpn yet. So far heavy testings are being done in the vpn segment. We might roll it out and we might not as it all depends on how our test result outcome goes.

Added on October 7, 2007, 6:28 pmI am recompiling our torrent client tonight to support unicode-8 character encoding support.

As in right now itself, some torrents with unicode char might not run on our server and some will.

We are working on a full fix and will do so by tonight. So far all the compilation done sucessfully only needs a quick reboot of services to test them out.

There will be a server maintenance at 12am till 1am to test the unicode char support

My feedback:

This service needs FTP, unless my FTP login/pass isn't correct. Transfer speeds torrent > server isn't the best, but it's fast enough, actually I haven't downloaded a mainstream torrent as of yet, maybe I'll leave this for further comment.

Server > Local PC isn't great, moving at 60kb/sec via http. I usually get 100+kb/sec on a 1mbps.

In any case, price performance ratio it's still worth it. RM30 is the deal I think most people would want. As for RM40 deal, it gets more competitive.

Their management/system seem pretty good so far.

and does ur tflus support selective download?example-1 torrent files consisting many smaller files in it

Ftp is there, tonight later i will be doing a few more final checkings and setting up ... then ftp will be turned on

And i only add 5 Concurrent Connenction to the server itself


Tonight around 12am there will be a Scheduled Maintenance

1. Enabling Ftp Server Support
2. Support For Unicode torrent handling - to make sure user can add and download torrents encoded in other non standard languanges especially japanase & chinese char support.
3. Server Sided Unrar Function
4. Enforcement on Few new rules
5. Some minor configuration here and there.

Question:

Your connection rules/enforcement is done by IP or username or both? All Celcom3G users go through one common gateway at celcom3g.tm.net.my. If one Celcom3G user inadvertently/accidentally hammers your server and the server automatically bans by IP, other innocent Celcom3G users using your service will also be affected and will not be able to download jack. If this is the case, there's no point for Celcom3G users to subscribe to this service.
