I checked a few sites already - they have changed to $250 instead. Some sources told that the prices are changing for these notebooks.

So you have bought these already or preordered? smile.gif

Steamen's pricing here is quite OK... I got mine in Singapore for S$585 at Sim Lim ~= RM1,340. 4G 701 Black.

But I feel the overall pricing should really be cheaper by another S$100 or so. Today I'm already seeing 12-14.1" laptops being sold at S$800. Guess it's due to the crazy worldwide demand for this eeePC at this moment. Competitors are slowly coming out: saw some Packard Bell subnotebook just like the EeePC being sold for about $800, and Kojinsha subnotebooks (with touchscreen and Windows XP/Vista!) sell for S$1099-S$1299. Both the Packard Bell and Kojinsha have built-on hard drives.
