iPod Classic

160GB: RM1499 (available in apple store now)

the new ipod nano finally catches up with the sony video walkman in screen size and pixels. will be interesting to see how the price matches up with the sony when it launches here and if sony will do a price cut!

the ipod touch is very very nice but i think i will wait for the iphone...which will probably launch in 2009 or something....hahahah

Well, the Shuffle is a refresh, no excitement there, the Nano, looks fugly IMHO, but it's features are commendable. I can't comment much on the Ipod Classic because other than the new UI, extra space + new looks, there's nothing much. As to the iPOD Touch, it's turning more into a beautiful PDA than a music player.

As an existing Ipod 5G user, I'd love one of those iPOD Touch, but at that price, with that kind of a storage, maybe i'll wait.

The touch is an iphone without the phone capabilities >.<' while the 'fatty' nano just killed the nano line. Even fugly could not justify its new looks. The 160GB classic is the most promising of all but i don't like the new all metal finish. No wonder apple shares dropped 5.1% tongue.gif
