is there anyway to disable the shortcut key for alt + s? i tend to press both at the same time and the save file dialog pops up =.=

i found a thread in dota-allstars forum to change the hotkey..
for complicated hero like QoP..
but dont know if got for alt+key..
but for sure..u need to edit the script..

ONLY works with heroes with low attack delay (sniper)

timing is important and dmg dealt from particular heroes and how fast they attk. u need to take all this into account.

hav a teammate do the wardings and others go gank ppl. mah u can farm syok syok lo. teammates pro then u can farm v one eye close

press S , or download something call hp viewer , easy for u to see hp and get last hit , but ur ur game must no lag so more easy for u to take last hit or deny

I notice people that get consistent last hits to kill creeps and to deny my creeps ....

it's frustrating

You don't get money but you get experience instead. Sometimes that is the only thing you can hope for especially when your a low level melee, and the opponent is a range like sniper, drow, razor, and etc ....

They will continue farming, denying creeps and harrassing you to kill you, or to make you go back to your fountain to not make as much gold or exp as you should.

There is only a few ways for melees to counter this.

1. Gang them fast and early. Get team mates help.

2. Stay far, and when creeps about to die, then close in to get the final hit. Get the timing right or the creep would be denied.

A regen item like a ring may be needed to last you in the long term from the constant range abuse. Or switch lanes or get a ranged hero to help you.

ops mine is keep click at left mouse and "A" spam,""mouse1 A mouse1 A mouse1 A,the hero will looks like wanna shoot but take back da shoot,when u think the creep life is ngam ngam hoh can last hit then last click is left mouse,maybe it tired but im okay with it already ^^

ps: i dint see vigoss(ks member?) use cancel shoot normally in his game,except meele hero,maybe its just a mind game when u play with a oponent but not AI.

hmm. walking around sometimes gets u out of position for the last hit so IMO the stop-attack method is better.

the way i do it is hover my mouse over the creep i want to last hit (so i can see the life bar), s s s s s s then right-click. so i wont trigger the save game screen also (no need to press alt).

Sometimes when i am paired with a team mate against 1 in a lane, i would walk near to where enemy is then attack.

If i straight away attack/aim the creeps all attack me !

It's better to move closer before u start attacking. Hopefuly the creeps are occupied with your creeps or not close enough to start attacking you.

Anyway i do this if i see they have no regen item, or i can out regen them. I can also chase them away from creeps while my team mate gets gold and exp. I of course try stay close to get exp while the enemy ran away far getting zilch

I do this early game when people hardly have items and i know my hero can out dps out regen the enemy without them regening back their health as much as mine if at all.




I have a question though, if enemy does manage to get the last hit kill for creeps does it make any different if you denied it ? I notice regardless whether you or enemy kill creep, they still get exp. So any point denying if enemy cannot get last kill ?


enemies that are pro at getting last kill these i definately try to take the time to deny, but nub enemies that aren't so skilled i don't bother. Is this correct i only take the effort if enemy is too far away so if i deny he won't get exp either.

dont ask how...play more and...watch more competition replay..then u know how pros farm...

Use your "ALT" key. Its your friend. Jeep holding or keep pressing every few seconds. Last hit creeps and get the money and try to deny your creeps as much as possible. Fast money= Powerful items= Own everyone
