Anyone care to share the methods. I have noticed from replays that pros tend to hold their hero back from hitting the creep. What keys needed to hold the hero back?

Very constructive. tongue.gif

I was asking more about how they control the hero to hold back from hitting. IF you can see, the hero they control tend to pull back as they are about to hit. How do they do that?

ermm.. press S, i believe it's not so good

the BEST is DON'T STOP MOVING keep moving and click on the creep when u think you can get money, keep moving around behind.. if you stop moving, you will be an easy prey for the enemy to kill.

moving is not a problem. S is the one that I was looking for. Tried it out and it works.

press alt lo... walk around the creeps and estimate which creep that red life ady u 1 hit can kill wan lo.. usually u whack 1 time on the creep to see the dmg done on the creeps to estimate.. for range hero will be different.. the timing and the distance between you and creeps can make a lot of differents.. just my 2 cents...

and of course theres the easy way to farm without having to go trouble of tabbing and timing, you can farm neutral creeps and go for bfury if your melee and mjollnir if ur range, you can spam spells provided that you have mana regenaration items or skills for example lich, 1st skill and i use my 3rd skill to regenarate my mana. hand of midas does wonders too.

This of course is for the lazy ones and you will never improve in your farming skills. I like to use this on bnet cause its laggy and and its very hard to time right.

wrong its S

a range hero will shoot inrange enemies. well even melee hero would hit if the enemy is beside him

the correct way is S

and not all hero can use S efficiently such as venomancer, sniper, razor etc

usually hero with lower base ias can do this like silencer, qop, warlock etc

S is best used in lane to confuse the opponent when you about to fight for last hit/deny in order to prevent them from getting the last hit

another alternative, attack using right click,to stop animation, right click on the ground n right click on the creep again, get use to it n it'll be better than pressing stop.
