the movie is really really bad. and i'm not being hateful or bias, i'm just being honest here.

1. character development has no depth.
2. side characters are introduced and tossed away.
3. the sense of emotion is bland. too monotone.
4. the editing is the worst. the story jumps back & forth without proper reasons to do so.
5. missing plotlines that sent the viewers guessing.
6. blood effects so fake, it's better without it.
7. inaccurate voice over.
8. a failed attempt to replicate the mood from the movie "300"
9. too much unnecessary acting and sound effects.

the only good thing bout the movie is the fighting scenes and the filming angles, that's all.

One of my friend was in the movie. ^.^
He worked for Blackbox pictures.

The movie is as bad as impak maksima...
I thought it will be another flash point but not..
1)The blood is fake..it's better if they darken a bit the blood...too red, like apple, i guess the guy didn't see blood before..xD
2)Replay parts are crap...should cut a bit..
3)The love part even worse..the whole cinema laugh out loud..why? Like in drama..old movie..and the guy's acting is crap
4)Those fighting actions are suck..I can expected what will be the next move..
5)The fighting parts lack of bass..you guys watch flash point and see..at least this common sense those "dieractors" must know wad..
6)Overall, this movie just want to show us Malayu and Chinese must corporate, want to let Malaysian know those actors, actress' acting ability..etc...After the movie, all were talked about this movie..negative comments everywhere.. lol..I can confirm the IP man is 5x better than this, although i not yet watch Ip man.

Just my point of views.

That the problem of putting an artful director who made the awful the 3 generations (amber chia's first movie) to make an action movie.

worse movie of the year that is released in Malaysia, period... dont think that there is enough time for a movie to suck as bad as this "movie"..

everything in this movie is hanging around... if you love flashbacks or have alzheimers then you'll love this show, other than that i cant think of any outrageously possible scenario that any movie goer would enjoy wasting 1 1/2 hour of their short life watching this crap they call Kinta..

On that note, Support our local film industry!!!

Aww man....just thought of watching this. OH well....more money for the VCD peddlers then. Oh yea....why got ppl bashing Cicakman in this thread? If Cicakman really bad....why is there a sequel? Bro, look at the box office collections before making a statement laa.

Anyways, Kinta can still salvage something out of this. You guys should give credit that this is our first attempt at making action/kungfu movie. Hopefully, more will come and have better results than Kinta. Anyway, kudos to the people making this movie for braving the first attempt.

mutha fork the cinemaonline reviewer for grading this movie 3.5 out of 5 star. Luckily i check this thread. Already reserved my tickets for tonight show. Would have wasted 1 1/2 hrs of my life in there.

cicakman ftw!

i was hoping for it to end asap when it started out coz it was a bit too boring for my liking. they should totally do it away with the fake blood effect....it would be much better without it!

the idea of introducing the characters one by one after they were injured with their very own 'love' stories and etc is quite ok...but then hor, damn boring la coz all also almost the same....saying why bad things happened on the 15th @.@ BTH!

the only part tht made me paid attention to it was the fighting scene. abit too short for my liking..but better than nothing!
