Eeeeek. This isn't working quite as well as I would have liked. I've more or less followed this tutorial down to every last word, opting to use the chain0 method to boot into Mac OS X 10.4.6. Darwin goes through its loading sequence, calling up all the necessary drivers. When it's just about to boot into the OS, the screen goes black and my computer reboots.

sad.gif

When loading with Darwin, the OSX tries doing a verbose startup even if I don't input any commands. Might try a reinstall because I installed both SSE2 and SSE3 patches on an SSE2-only machine.

Hi neovo, Joey! The malaysian cow here wink.gif

llamasonic: VERY nice, 'cept for the nVidia card. Although you might have luck with 10.4.8 (look in demonoid) + Titan (http://omni.starchaser.org/) Otherwise, full support! smile.gif

*edit* Corrected URL

Do you find that your osx86 system is usable as your main machine - has anyone compared performance with vista?

current using my HP pavillion Pentium D with OS X86 as main machine for daily computing, email yahoo messenger, torrent, word etc..etc... it's kinda fast! compare to vista or xp... vista sucks... i find it hard to use it compare to xp and OS X.. and the systems requirement for vista is kinda high, i had to upgrade my RAM to get the aero interface.. .which i find aqua is much more cool and easy to use...
