If that's the case, I'll just have to make a new partition on my harddrive. Curse AMD. Will definitely give this a whirl - I hope it'll serve as a pleasant introduction to the world of Mac OS X.

Finally it's here rclxms.gif

I've manage to install it once long time ago but, it still very early so could not find any help for sound and display driver on the net so I revert it back to Windoze, I remember I do take the snapshot of About My Mac.. will try to find back the screenshot, will post it ASAP!

BTW, anyone can tell me any Intel mainboard that 100% compatible with x86 OS X? Some ppl recommend D915GUXLX and D915GLVGL but since I'm searching for dual core mainboard, 915 chip not a right choice.. Now I manage to find few list of Intel board:

D963FX
DG965WH
DG965RY
DP965LT
D975BX
D945PSN
D945GNT
D955XBX

Among all above, which one is the most compatible with x86 OS X?

Thanks, Cheers smile.gif

iTunes uses PowerPC Emulation thats the problem and the generic AC-97 Driver , you might have some few bugs

If you're using Dell then you should try Sigmatel drivers

Intel only? AMD still support, at least for the older version like 10.4.5. For the newer version, i not sure AMD can be supported or not. smile.gif

Just my 2cent.

Early this year ago, i install macosx86 in my P4 pc. Too bad for asus mobo, the LAN won't work sad.gif Anyway, it's a great try for me cos' i didn't use mac os before. Next year i plan to get macbook pro or other newer macbook

Any suggestions on how much disk space to allocate to the Mac OS X partition? I'm getting Mac OS X 10.4.6 to fiddle with first.
