this reminds me about my frequent disconnection complaints in 2006, they ask me to buy a new computer to test it because it could be my computer "too-old" even i done OS reinstallation. They love to blame on your side rather than them, after taking for more than 4 weeks with so many complains (since this area was new) and they only realise it is whole area problem that caused this frequent disconnection. Got compensated 3 months for 1 month problem not too bad anyway but took me a lot of time for complaining and those technician keep coming and test.

Guess what, they complain that i applied 3 different phone line at the beginning that caused this problem. shakehead.gif

u should format your laptop when they come next time...just install antivirus & BT..so that they cant blame malware or spyware....

if later they blame your laptop's hardware u slap his damn face !!

however i did manage to hit 175kB/s later on when they left, got test results and screenshots on my blog ...

no, i did not mention he isocming today? they all came on Saturday, surprise visit, i was only expecting the technician, see see - the whole top offices is there at my house

That's nuts, how can they blame a 2 year old laptop for slow connection?

I can download at full speed from Akamai servers using my 7 year old Pentium 3 notebook at around 150 - 170kB/s.

its actually kinda sad as u are bounded my the terms and regulation, when they bring those out, u have nothing much to say ...

what u heard from their staff are all bollocks, u got to have them write it black in white, and bug them everyday to stuff resolved, those this might sound ridiculous, but they are actuall a company runnning on some foolish principles ...

Very Interesting. Just a minute ago a technician called me for an appointment because of frequent disconnection. Guess what, now my connection is 220kb/s constantly on torrent.

Now i have to find how to hammering their port.

whats ur ip range, monitor the ip, then see how long can u maintain that speed, keep me updated ...
